Europe's largest trade-only event, EFTTEX, saw Wychwood's latest flagship rods, the RS series, narrowly missed out on the 'Best Fly Rod' award, scooping the runner-up badge against some of the biggest brands in the world.
The awards, voted for by a panel of industry insiders and press from around Europe, covers a whole host of tackle catagories, with Wychwood entering the RS fly rods and the recently-launched Wading jacket, which featured in the 'Best Clothing' category. The fly rod award was won by SAGE.
Both products received huge amounts of interest from the 1,500+ visotors to the show held at Amsterdam's RAI exhibition centre, attracting attention from dealers from across Europe who welcomed the brand's frsh approach to game tackle.
